The phone is officially set to launch on July 1, 2025, with the price expected to be around ₹79,999 in India. The device represents a major step up with a new design, upgraded Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, a larger 5,150mAh battery with 100W fast charging, and improved camera features including a 50MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom. The launch marks a shift away from the signature Glyph LED system to a new Dot Matrix design. This phone is targeted at the flagship segment, with enhanced performance and premium features.
“UK (London)-based Nothing Technology Company’s CEO Carl Pei has shared important information about the upcoming Nothing Phone 3. The phone’s launch date, price, and almost all specifications have been revealed, let’s learn about them in detail below.”
In 2024, the company clarified that it was working on AI-based features, which is why no successor to the Nothing Phone 2 was launched throughout the year. During this time, the company and its sub-brand CMF by Nothing launched several devices in the budget and mid-range segments—including the Phone 2a series, Phone 3a series, and recently the CMF Phone 2 Pro.
Nothing’s CEO Carl Pei recently confirmed to an X (Twitter) user that the Nothing Phone 3 will be launched in Q3 2025, between July and September 2025. In a significant statement, Carl Pei said that the Nothing Phone 3 will be the company’s “first true flagship smartphone.” This means the device will feature major upgrades in design and performance, far surpassing the Nothing Phone 2, keeping today’s competitive market in mind. Carl Pei hinted that the probable price will be around GBP 800, which is roughly ₹90,000. It’s clear that the Nothing Phone 3 will directly compete with premium flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus and Oppo Find X8 Pro.
Nothing is known for its unique design and clean software experience. In this context, it is expected that the design of Nothing Phone 3 will be quite different and innovative compared to current flagship phones—especially those devices that come with heavy glass and repetitive design languages.
So far, no hardware specifications have been leaked, but it can be said for sure that it will have a far more powerful processor than the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 of Nothing Phone 2. Today’s flagship phones feature multi-camera setups and top-end chipsets like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, so it will be interesting to see what level of specifications the Nothing Phone 3 arrives with.
“Nothing Phone 3 may feature:”
A 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset for high-end performance.
Up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Triple camera setup including 64MP wide, 50MP telephoto, and 32MP ultra-wide sensors.
A 5000mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging.
Nothing OS 3.0 based on Android 15, featuring AI-powered smart capabilities.
A new Dot Matrix design replacing the previous Glyph Interface.
